Syrian gang extorting money from mosques by posing as Gaza victims busted, two arrested

Ahmedabad Crime Branch has busted a Syrian gang which was extorting money from mosques by pretending to be Gaza victims. Police have detained a Syrian national named Ali Meghat Alzahar. He had come to India on a tourist visa. During interrogation, it was revealed that he was using the money collected to lead a luxurious life.
